Born and raised as a lamb at Pont y Mwynyr. Old Lady is the eldest of all the family.
Her presence is calming and she is a joy to be around. I often give her a fuss and look at her, wishing she could speak. Wondering what she would say. What she had seen and heard, over her life time. I for one would sit for hours on end, listening to that untold story.
Her 2023 fleece, very similar to her 2022 in that she has produced a classic high crimped zwartble wool with her added Old lady style, of magically wavy and flowing locks of wool on top. It is very unusual for a pedigree zwartble to produce such wool. As you can see from the images, she has a blend of stunning colour in her wool.
She is very special to me and it's a privilege once again, to have her fleece in my hands. This piece would suit a decorative chair placement, or the occasional snuggler. Body or bottom.
