Old lady is now around 13 years old (Hence her name). She was born and raised as a lamb at Pont y Mwynyr.
She genuinely reminds me of a cat, in a behavioural sense that is. She loves a fuss and to be around you but only on her terms. One moment you can be scratching her head, then all of a sudden, she's off and on the other side of the field.
Her fleece is quite different from the other zwartbles. Being that, it will be course and thick in winter like the others, but she also has these random long flowing locks in sections.
As she is getting on parts of her fleece can be thin in places and thick in other parts. During the wet felting process, this was magnified. That said her fleece is a stunning, strong and unique. 100% wool and hand made. Here's to more years left Old Lady.
